The Intelcorei7 is the new processor range from Intel. The corei7 is the fastest processor yet to be unleashed into the marked. It comes in three different models at the moment however there are plans to release another 3 more. At the moment of when this review was written there are only three types; 920 (2.66 GHz), 240 (2.93 GHz) and the 940 ExtremeProcessor (3.2 GHz). each of the processors have 8MB of cache which means you will be able to run your PC faster as it will use large memory to process the information. the i7 is also a quad coreCPU which means it will multi-task extremely well.
When I used this Processor on my system, it ran extremely fast and only using about 8% of CPU usage when opening programs, surfing the web, watching a DVD. It rarely goes over 50% when playing games such as Counter Strike: Source and Left 4 ...

Corei7 is the newest Quad coreCPU from intel, its top end and as a result expsenive yet efficient. I opted for the 920 at a semi-reasonable £240, compared to the quicker, yet more pricey 940 or Extremeedition (the Extreme tops out at nearly £1,000 - just for the CPU!?!).
With more cores and too many features to list (google it) the Corei7 is intel's finest core yet. With rave reviews and recommendations, I chose the Corei7 over my previously favoured manufacturer (AMD). As anyone who knows anything about customer loyalty will know, it takes alot to steal loyal customers and AMD have served me well over the years. However, it cannot be denied that Intel are now the market leader once again.

and with all of my old hardwares as it is, i really crushed the game with highest settings. And the graphics improved drammatically with flawless gameplay. Then I tried Crysis and Far Cry 2 and many more hard-core, pc - ruiner games and I just totally smashed them. I just love this processor, the fact that I didn't go for the extreme version, is i wanted to try the ideal processor for all of us, it was in my own budget (not of my parents) and now I am going for the extreme version. With Corei7 2.93 GHz, I just punched GTA IV in the face and now I want to check whether I can kick it's butt with Corei73.02GHz OC or not. And if you can't afford this processor than even the lower version will smash the games. ...
