What is very important in this board is the multiple FSB and Processor support which are 1333, 1066, 800 MHz and Dual-Core / Quad-core.
Another good thing is the Memory with standard DDR2 SDRAM whose buses are matching with the board buses so in this way the data transfer rate and execution speed becomes very excellent and fast. To get the benefit of DDR2 its good to install memory in pair.
PCI slots are also multiple with GMA 3100 onboard graphics subsystem which is a great advantage for running 3d applications and games like Maya , 3DSM, SoftImage, PS2 Games etc.
The socket LGA775 is supporting to many upcoming processors. You have two options to connect hard drive which is excellent that is IDE and Serial ATA while it is of Latest standard that is 3Gb/s in speed.
Cons: try to set up with OS Vista X64 with 4GB of RAM. Happen to stack at POST BIOS, and HD audio didn't work unless RAM was backed down to 2GB. Try contacting Intel tech support, and the answer i got was at a loss. RMA it for the first time in 15 years using comp, trade it with ABIT Fatality after then....
