Advantages: cheap & good processor! Disadvantages: 1m cache
...IntelPentium Dual Core E2160 / 1.8 GHzprocessor is helpful for those people who want to buy good processor but in cheapest rate. It is a stripped down low cost version of the Core 2 Duo. The performance of the processor at stock speed is good. As it is a dual core processor, its multitasking performance is very good.

Advantages: video and audio editing programms and apps run extremely well on Intel Pentium 4 530J 3 GHz Disadvantages: Not that good choice for gamers , stalls in some games
...IntelPentium4 530J 3 GHz is a fast processor at a reasonable price.
althought it is a bit noisy its very helpful.i can run a lot of programs at once something that i didnt expect. i have opened at least 20 programms and games and runs great. really representing the value of money. really worth it.
It supports Hyper-Threading Technology and features a 1MB L2 cache, an 800MHz front side bus and active heatsink.
Also supports the Intel 7721 chip set in the 775 pin PLGA package.
Recommended for users video and audio editing programms better then my Athlon 64 socket 939 3200+ that i use only for gaming.Programms like sony vegas run extremely well on IntelPentium4 530J 3 GHz along with some other programms.
Very nice processor overall....

Advantages: Performs Well Disadvantages: Expensive
...I wrote this a while, back so I am now publishing it on ciao but it is still fairly up to date. I spend a long time writing this. 1 hour:
After a simultaneous processor release early in 2002, both Intel and AMD are settling back into the standard pattern of trying to beat the other to the punch. Intel impressed us with the Pentium4 Northwood, as well as jumping a full 200 MHz with the Pentium4-2.2GHz. AMD followed this up with their Athlon XP 2100+, which once again had the juice to slip by the fastest Intel had to offer.
The last shot was fired by AMD, so naturally it should be Intel's chance to step up to the plate. And from first glance, Intel seems to be carrying a mighty big bat. With the release of the Pentium4-2.4GHz we're seeing yet another 200 MHz speed increase from Intel, which puts even more pressure on the Athlon XP...
