The Intel Pentium III 800 MHz simply takes hardware to the next stage. After upgrading from my PII 350 MHz I found not only did Windows 98 and other products 'start' and run faster, but the 3D graphics on games such as Quake 3 Arena and Unreal Tournament were improved significantly (without the upgrade of the 3D Card). The internet also operated faster, download time seemed to increase marginally. The price shouldn't discourage either. All in all, until the P4 1500MHz (!!!) is released this is simply the best processor to be found on the market - and of course it comes with the Intel Logo...
