Manufacturer's product description
The Intel Pentium M processor is a high performance, low power mobile processor with several micro-architectural enhancements over existing Intel mobile processors. The Intel Pentium M processor is manufactured on Intel's advanced 0.13 micron process technology with copper interconnect. The processor maintains support for MMX technology and Internet Streaming SIMD instructions and full compatibility with IA-32 software. The high performance core features architectural innovations like Micro-op Fusion and Advanced Stack Management that reduce the number of micro-ops handled by the processor. This results in more efficient scheduling and better performance at lower power. The on-die 32-kB Level 1 instruction and data caches and the 1-MB Level 2 cache with Advanced Transfer Cache Architecture enable significant performance improvement over existing mobile processors. The processor also features a very advanced branch prediction architecture that significantly reduces the number of mispredicted branches. The processor's Data Prefetch Logic speculatively fetches data to the L2 cache before an L1 cache requests occurs, resulting in reduced bus cycle penalties and improved performance. The Streaming SIMD Extensions 2 (SSE2) enable break-through levels of performance in multimedia applications including 3-D graphics, video decoding/encoding, and speech recognition. The new packed double-precision floating-point instructions enhance performance for applications that require greater range and precision, including scientific and engineering applications and advanced 3-D geometry techniques, such as ray tracing. The Intel Pentium M processor's 400-MHz processor system bus utilizes a split-transaction, deferred reply protocol. The 400-MHz processor system bus uses Source-Synchronous Transfer (SST) of address and data to improve performance by transferring data four times per bus clock (4X data transfer rate, as in AGP 4X). Along with the 4X data bus, the address bus can deliver addresses two times per bus clock and is referred to as a "double-clocked" or 2X address bus. Working together, the 4X data bus and 2X address bus provide a data bus bandwidth of up to 3.2 Gbytes/second. The processor system bus uses Advanced Gunning Transceiver Logic (AGTL+) signal technology, a variant of GTL+ signaling technology with low power enhancements. The processor features Enhanced Intel SpeedStep technology, which enables real-time dynamic switching between multiple voltage and frequency points instead of two points supported on previous versions of Intel SpeedStep technology. This results in optimal performance without compromising low power. The processor features the Auto Halt, Stop-Grant, Deep Sleep, and Deeper Sleep low power states.

...pentium dual core is based on a 64-bit allendale processors targeted at mobile or desktop computers respectively.
intel wanted to bring back the pentium brand again to the market after its huge success. the first processores of dual core came in notebooks in 2007. these processorspentium t2060, t2080 and t2130 had the 32bit pentium-m core, and was the initial poineers of core duo. the pentium dual-core was developed at the request of notebooks/laptops companies.
intel then realeased desktop pentium dual-core. these processors support intel64 extensions, based on the 64bit allendale core.
the core brand is intels 32it dual-core cpu's the come's from pentiumm brand processors, microarchitecture whih is a combination of intel p6 and core microarchitecture of the new core2 cpu's. the core brand first released the 32bit yonah core cpu...

...Hi, I'm Alligator. And i want to present you my new opinion about IntelPentium 4.
Some month ago I usually asked my friend why they wanted to by new IntelPentium 4. And they usually told me that the 4th has capacity that necessary today then it has the power for the most modern internet programs, fast speed for creation and edition audio and video materials. Then Pentium 4 has production platform that provides submersion in 3d world.
But in general they are right but now I can tell you more exact about this high power processor because I made sure myself when I bought IntelPentium 4. At first there are four types of this processor they are 1.3 GHz, 1.4 GHz, 1.5GHz and 1.7 GHz. And it has a lot of new advantages. For example in the games:
1. Capacity that allows synthesizing more detailed images
2. To raise the realism...

Advantages: speed, perormance, no dodgy intel media graphics Disadvantages: none really
...The processor operates at 1.9 Ghz which is not the fastest processor in the world, the fastest in the family of processors is the Turion TL-66 at 2.3Ghz. This speed is definately not bad though, with many intel laptop processors coming in at around 1.6 Ghz to 2Ghz. The speed is definately more than fast enough for the standard home user and probably fine for business use or even professional use. Although it is not the fastest it is still reasonable, and it has to be said that being a laptop processor it can not be expected to reach the same speeds as desktop processors which I have known to reach 3.2Ghz.
For anyone out there who is not technologically minded like me, and who does not understand Ghz, Mhz etc, it is quite fast, that is the simple version.
PERFORMANCE
The performance of the processor is great and it really is good at being a steady...

▀ ▀ ▀ The low end processor market. ▀ ▀ ▀
The low end processors market is not as greatly disputed such as mainstream and high end processor market and also if you noticed few reviews are written about them, few more
I recently bought a laptop containing Intel Core 2 Duo T7600. My experience with it was just fun. The laptop is very fast at every thing.
This processor is based on the latest micro architecture from Intel. It has several very advanced features. Some... more
