Intelligent Finance Loans

If loans are a part of Halifax with no branches , it's basically internet and telephone banking. I applied for a loan with them 7 months ago and the service was brilliant. The APR was 10% and now has been reduced to 9.9%. Which is lower than most major banks and with a company you can trust. I only borrowed £3000 to pay some bills etc so it wasn't an extremely large amount of money. But as the amount you borrow goes up the interest rate goes down, so you never know i may use them for bigger purchases ! Anytime i asked a question, as it is my first loan. I found myself with huge amounts of debt after i quit university, and found there wernt many people out there who would help me. Going to uni really destroys your credit rating so i was having such a bad time trying to find a company who would help me with a personal loan. I was looking for a loan a couple of years ago to pay off some outstanding car finance and an astronomical car insurance premium. I tried the likes of Tesco Persoanl Finance and MBNA and was refused. Even though I have a credit card with MBNA!! Looking through a magazine I saw Intelligent Finance. I prefer to apply online, it saves explaining yourself and your finances to someone on the phone! I first came across IF.com when I saw an advert for there company on the t.v so I logged on and checked out thier site as I was needing to buy a new car. I needed a small personal loan so I sent for an information pack which arrived within two working days. I found thier interest to be the best I could find. I filled in the application for the personal loan and sent it off with the relavent information that they needed, A recent utility bill and either your birth cert or your passport. Having already got a mortgage with IF (which is okay) we decided to use them for our loan when we wanted to buy a car. We wish we never had! Despite the fact that they had already verified our wages, etc. less than 6 weeks ago, they still demanded that we send in our payslips, etc. to them (exactly the same 2 payslips in my case!) to check our income.
