My First Leap pad Educational + Entertaining !
Review of Leap Frog My First LeapPad by
The-ex-Raven
Advantages: Easily portable, Lots of different books available, FUN learning toy
Disadvantages: none that spring to mind.
My First Leap pad
Basically it's an interactive educational toy aimed at pre-school children aged 3-5. We started with the Leap-pad-Little-touch when the Boy was smaller and moved onto this one when he was 3. The My First Leap Pad Learning System itself is mainly blue with a few other colours here and there, like the 'magic pen', speaker, and on off button. It's quite a compact unit with a handy carry handle to one side, it's lightweight ... ...master, it's attached to the leap pad with a plastic covered chunky orange wire but the pen moves around easy and freely enough…but can never get lost - good design. Books
All the books are double sided, one side being a story and the other more games, puzzles and activities to play. Once the Leap pad is on it will announce the book title and tell you what to do. To get started you need to touch the green go circle with the pen, then away ...

Get into the Groove with Learn and Groove
Review of Leap Frog Activity Station by
DKtheDJ
Advantages: Keeps baby very entertained and safe
Disadvantages: Is a bit cumbersome and awkward to 'flatpack'
...try.
Another plus to Leap fog.
It's retail price is normally about £90 but many of the well known providers such as ELC and Mothercare have been offering the station at £55 - £60 so I would suggest looking about before you hit the checkout button.
Right off to get my little lady out of her activity station where she has qute happily been sitting during the writing of this review -whch just goes to prove that it s a good item for keeping little ... ...Addition:
My daughter has played with the microphone so much it has now broken but after a quick telephone call to Leapfrog I have been tol they will send a replacement out as soon as possible although there may be a bit of a wait. Excellent customer service.
Next Addition:
THe replacement microphone arrived last week (they did say it would be a bit of a wait) and with a couple of pinches taking the old one out and a push in of the new one and ...

Baby Driver hits the road (and the floor!)
Review of ELC Highchair Steering Wheel by
sadoldbag
Advantages: good plat value, lots of buttons, virtually unbreakable, only 1 battery
Disadvantages: suction strength could be better on the cup
This is a great little toy, which at £10 from the Early Learning Centre is not expensive if you are looking for a present for a little boy or girl.
It is designed with a rubber suction cap on the bottom of it, so you can stick it down to a hard, solid surface. The idea is that you stick to the tray of your baby's highchair, to keep baby amused while you're preparing dinner, finishing your own meal or whatever, but it has good play value on the floor ... ...It is suitable for babies from six months - in other words they need to be able to sit up in their highchair unaided really and be ble to reach out to a toy, in order to get any play value from it, though, you can sit with a younger child on your knee and enjoy making the beeping noise and going "broom broom" if you want to - there is nothing unsafe about it for a younger child as far as I can see.
My son was given one for Christmas last year when ...
