Review of Step2 Fire Engine Bed & Storage Chest Set by
bazzaoleary77
Advantages: Great Fun At Bed Time
Disadvantages: Also Great Fun At Bed Time lol
...bed and settled on the Step2 Fireman Bed which set us back a fairly reasonable £199 including the chest that matches for a side wall. We decided on this bed as it seemed fun and my now 3 year old is a huge Fireman Sam fan.
We waited a week for delivery but it was very much worth the wait as it was fantastic. It arrived and of course the first thing I did was set about setting it up. The parts were very easy to slot together with minimal setting ... ...My overall opinion on the Step2 Fire Engine Bed is fantastic value for money and well worth considering if you are looking for a themed bed for your little ones. The bed helps to encourage little ones to go to bed with no trouble however be prepared for a month of wanting to play before sleep lol. I have found that it also keeps him occupied in the mornings giving me that further hour in bed that makes all the difference. If you are looking at this ...

Step2 Stock car convertible bed
Review of Step2 Stock Car Convertible Bed by
clare0702
Advantages: Last a lot longer than a toddler bed, easy to assemble, looks great.
Disadvantages: Takes up a lot of space, can be a bit pricey if you dont shop around.
What a fantastic bed. I wanted a bed that my toddler could keep for a long time, not just up until he was 4, but longer, as this kind of bed is not cheap. I saw this in a major toy store and loved it as it not only starts as a toddler bed but then converts into a full size single bed.
I researched the internet for a better deal as in the shops it retails for £295 and that's without a mattress! I found it on Amazon for over £100 cheaper and they ... ...48 hours, they unpacked it for me and put it up in by boy's bedroom - how's that for service?
It is VERY big, so if you have a small room I would think twice. It was really easy to assemble as all the pieces are thick plastic and slot in together. I took me about 20 minutes to put it together but another hour to put all the stickers on! My son was 20 months when he went into it and because of the higher plastic side pieces I didn't need a bed rail ...

Soft landings for bumps
Review of Step2 24 Playmats - 1 pack (4 Total Playmats)" by
vickigroth
Advantages: easy to assemble/dismantle. Hardwearing
Disadvantages: only seen them in blue.
I bought a pack of these mats in summer 2005. I initially used them to protect my son from my hard floors when he fell. He was just learning to sit up and although I put cushions around him I couldn't guarantee where he would fall. These gave me peace of mind.
The pack has 4 squares of interlocking foam. They are easy to put together and easy enough to take apart as well. They have a multitude of uses and so far I have used them to put under a paddling ... ...small slide in the house to stop little bottoms bumping on my wood floors, as a play mat, as gym mats and also as tunnels! They have been well used and generally stored outside in the shed but apart from the odd scuff they are doing really well. I certainly shan't be replacing them soon and they are almost 3 years old. In fact I may buy some more this year. A really useful product to have around. ...

Baby Driver hits the road (and the floor!)
Review of ELC Highchair Steering Wheel by
sadoldbag
Advantages: good plat value, lots of buttons, virtually unbreakable, only 1 battery
Disadvantages: suction strength could be better on the cup
This is a great little toy, which at £10 from the Early Learning Centre is not expensive if you are looking for a present for a little boy or girl.
It is designed with a rubber suction cap on the bottom of it, so you can stick it down to a hard, solid surface. The idea is that you stick to the tray of your baby's highchair, to keep baby amused while you're preparing dinner, finishing your own meal or whatever, but it has good play value on the floor ... ...It is suitable for babies from six months - in other words they need to be able to sit up in their highchair unaided really and be ble to reach out to a toy, in order to get any play value from it, though, you can sit with a younger child on your knee and enjoy making the beeping noise and going "broom broom" if you want to - there is nothing unsafe about it for a younger child as far as I can see.
My son was given one for Christmas last year when ...

Review of Vtech Tiny Touch Phone by
Littlebootwo
Advantages: Coluful light up buttons
Disadvantages: Poor sound quality
...the shops as part of Vtech triple toy pack retailing for about £19.99. Considering the price I paid for this phone it seemed a right bargain, but to be honest it is a bit of a let down.
The Vtech Tiny Touch phone is designed for children from around 12months to 3yrs old, its a nice colourful imitation mobile phone, with its big design for little hands to grip. Its an interactive toy that has 10 very colourful shaped buttons in yellow ,red and green ... ...a star shape and a moon shape to press. At the top of the phone there is a scrolling screen so when you press a big blue button you can change the mode on the telephone. The phone has 3 different modes, shown by 3 different pictures one to learn shapes shown by a girl juggling shapes, numbers shown by a boy looking at numbers and the third which is like your speaking to a grown up learning to use the phone shown by two children speaking on the telphone ...
