V Tech Discovery Tree
Review of VTech Discovery Tree by maccaandclaire

Advantages: Children learn really quickly how to use the product
Disadvantages: None

We bought this toy for my 13 month old daughter this Christmas and has been the best present by far. It was bought for £19.99 and definately value for money. Basically you put the coloured balls in the top of the tree and watch them roll down to the bottom. As it gets to the bottom it rolls over coloured key notes which either sing numbers or just the tune. The balls land at the bottom on a foot and the child can press the foot and the ball will ...
...of it on the third day and smiles everytime she puts it in! There is also a storage compartment at the side of the toy for you to store all the balls when finished playing which is ideal as the balls do tend to fly everywhere! A must by for any child over 12 months. ... Read review

Vtech Baby Alfie Bear
Review of VTech Alfie Bear by charkai

Advantages: interactive, fun
Disadvantages: pronunciation of some words

This was given to my son for Christmas when he was a year old. He is now nearly 3 and he still likes to play with it. The recomended ages are 3 - 36 months, but i think my son will be playing with it for a while yet as he enjoys it so much. Alfie Bear is a light brown colour, he is wearing red dungarees and there is a big yellow star on his belly. Each point on the star has a face on (Mummy/Daddy/Baby/Grandma/Grandad) and when you press the picture, ...
...press the same picture for a second time, they will laugh and giggle, and if you press the same picture for a third time, then a little tune will be played. In the middle of the star (ie the teddies belly) the words "i love you" will be said. On one of Baby Alfies paws is a button which you press and music will be played. On the other paw is a red light. If you move this paw up towards Alfie's mouth, he will blow you a kiss. I really like this ... Read review

V-Tech do it again
Review of VTech Little Smart Tiny Touch Telephone by colly22

Advantages: Chunky buttons, flashing lights, sounds
Disadvantages: none

I'm including the V-Tech Tiny Touch Phone in this category, as even though it's slightly different from the others which have been reviewed, I think it's because V-Tech have upgraded the model and replaced the previous model with this one. *******WHAT IS IT?****************************** As the name suggests it is an interactive telephone, which has flashing lights and makes sounds when the buttons are pressed. ********WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE?************* ...
...handle, a blue back, a red face with a mirror, and seven different buttons. There is a mode switch and a volume control switch on either side of the face. There is also a flashing antenna and blinking eyes. ******WHAT IS THERE ON THE PHONE?******** The phone has two modes, talking mode and music mode. These are activated by sliding a switch on the left hand side of the face. There is a volume switch on the other side, so you can choose quiet or ... Read review

HANDY ANDY! CAN HE FIX IT? HANDY ANDY! YES HE CAN
Review of VTech Handy Hands Workshop by Surveyaholic

Advantages: Big, Bright and Loadsa Fun - Perfect for little hands
Disadvantages: none that we could find

I can remember my son receiving this for christmas 2004 when he was about to turn two. It was a present from his nan who likes to buy the toys when she sees them and got if for about £20 in the sales. Although i think its around £40 - £50 normally. I can remember that i had never ever heard of it before and was very intriged to see what he was like. I think the age range is from 3 years+, although my son had no trouble with it at just being two. ...
...two year old to do, but i wouldnt say it isnt suitable for anyone under 3. He had lots of fun learning the names of the tools and what they did and I imagine his hand eye co-ordination improved as he played with it. It is full of bright colours and shapes, which makes him even more fun. There are no sharp edges and all the tools are very big and stong no little bits that could get broken. Suitable for chewing and putting in mouths, as ours were ... Read review

Herbie sorts it out with the kids
Review of VTech Sort 'n Go Car by MiniMe69

Advantages: great with Coordination and fine motor skills
Disadvantages: can grate on your nerves if you have a headache

Vtech Sort and go car We got this little shape sorter car just over three years ago as a present for our daughter for Christmas and it has now been passed down to the youngest and both have had great fun playing with it. The car itself. The car is a sturdy little plastic yellow V.W beetle, and as with all of the vetch toys I have come across so far is really easy too keep clean with just a quick wipe with a damp cloth or sponge and maybe a little ...
...siblings and cousins so its well worth the cash if you have others to pass it on to or if not you can car boot it I bet it will soon go. All in all a really good toy from Vtech and one I would definitely buy or recommend. ... Read review
