Manufacturer's product description

The MaxiScan 2210 is an ultra compact, cost-efficient solution for omnidirectional pass through scanning. Its size and performance enables fast hands-free scanning to be integrated into any retail POS station. The scanner measures only 7.8 x 11.5 x 6.5cm (3.1 x 4.5 x 2.6") but offers a full 20 line scan pattern, 20cm (8") depth of field and 20cm2 (8"2) scan zone for easy and ergonomic scanning. A mounting kit and Velcro pad are included for simple installation onto horizontal or vertical surfaces. The M2210's shape and size allows one of the most space saving methods of scanning - fixing the scanner to the side of the POS terminal. To further 'tune' the scanner to the POS station, the scanning depth of field can be adjusted to fit the working area and avoid accidental reads. Finally, the scanner is supplied with a set of color profiles that can be used to customize the look of the scanner and match to other color schemes. The M2210 has unique built-in reliability. The scanner window is replaceable in the field to avoid having to return scanners simply because of scratched windows. A two-step sleep mode provides a separate laser and motor timeout for power/life saving and instant wake-up. A universal interface system allows the scanner to be connected to many hundreds of PCs, cash registers or other terminals simply by changing the cable and software setup. In common with most Intermec scanners, the M2210 is supplied with EasySet set up software for the fastest on-line or offline configuration.

RISK 2210 VS Classic RISK
Review of Risk 2210 by  Phornix

Advantages: Adds another dimention to classic RISK
Disadvantages: Much less actual 'strategy' involved

...After having fallen head over heels in love with classic RISK. I was all too willing to pay the somewhat hefty price for RISK 2210, as a Christmas presant for my other half. I was sure the moment i saw it, that we'd get hours of fun out of it and it would soon replace classic RISk as our new favorite board game. Unfortunatly it spends most of its time gathering dust in our spare room. The game its self is in comparison to classic RISK much more in depth and has several added dimentions. For example you have underwater worlds, you can take over the moon, and if you pick up the right cards you can suddenly attack you aponant OR stop an attack from your apponant without warning. The problem is in the words of my husband 'RISK 2210 is a game of chance more than of strategy'. If you pick up the right cards you can be set for the whole game... Read review

Long live the h2210!
Review of HP iPAQ Pocket PC H2210 by  fitzy75

Advantages: Long battery life, easy expandability, easy to use, relatively cheap
Disadvantages: Side grips fall off, 4-way navigation button loose, very low memory capacity

...I bought this PDA about 3 years ago. It was my first proper device of this type (I have only had Psion's in the past). At the time when I bought it, the price was £230 from Office World, I first picked up one of their catalogues from my local store and looked through all the Pocket PCs in there, did a bit of research on the internet to find out what other people were saying about the different models and in the end decided to go for the 2210, mainly because it was one of the cheaper models and I saw it was spoken highly of on many websites, and also that it had all the features that I required to do some of my school work on. So I bought it, took it home and plugged it in to charge. While it was charging I took the time to read the enclosed documentation and the manual on the CD (which is in PDF format) and I liked the way it was laid... Read review

*HP PSC 2210 Review
Review of HP PSC 2210 by  Puurfect

Advantages: Useful Functions, Quick Printing
Disadvantages: A bit Bulky, Can be unreliable

...The HP PSC 2210 all-in-one is an good printer and represents good value-for-money in this new sector of 'all-in-ones'. It offers you the main things printer, scanner, copier and fax that you have in your office but in your own home. It also offers a space for a digital camera's memory card (compliant with almost all models) which allows you to immediately print off your photos without any need to even have the pc on! Once I purchased this printer I found it very easy to use and unlike many modern pc appliances there were only 2 leads that needed to be connected before it could be up and running. There is a basic console on the printer with a very useful small LCD screen and you simply touch a button to tell it which of the 4 options (mentioned above) you would like to pursue and off it goes! You can set the photocopying... Read review
