Advantages: Rates sites as safe (green), potentially unsafe (yellow, and red) before you click on them Disadvantages: Can only protect 1 PC
When I bought my laptop it came with a 60-day trial version of McAfee VirusScanPlus 2009. Since I use limewire, my laptop is very vulnerable to malicious mp3 files that I download from the site. Good thing, I activated my trial version the very first time I used my laptop. Whenever I downloaded those malicious files that contain trojans, McAfee kicks it out right away.
My husband used to use AVG free antivirus in his pc but he got dissatisfied with it so he decided to purchase McAfee VirusScanPlus 2009 3 User which cost a little bit more than the 1 user version.
Also if you register your product online you get free updates for one year.
McAfee does not only cover your PC, it also extends its protection to your printer and network connection. Whenever an intruder connects to your internet connection, McAfee prompts you.

Advantages: Cheap and replaceable. Attractive and efficient technology. Disadvantages: Ink costs more than the machine. Potential ecological mayhem.
My new Canon PIXMA IP1800 replaces my Canon PIXMA IP1600 so the planet may be doomed and It could be my fault.
My Canon PIXMA IP1600 had nothing wrong with it. It wasn't broken. The pictures spilled out on glossy paper at A4 ready for framing. The text was crisp and black. I'd had it for a year or so. It was cheap yet efficient and as good as any printer I'd ever owned. It had no tray to catch paper coming out but otherwise was printing perfectly and I've been delighted with it. This is partly why I bought the Canon PIXMA IP1800 which is also excellent. But why bother? They're almost the same machine!
The ink is running out on my old printer and, bizarrely, new cartridges would cost more than a brand new one. My wife was furious.
She looked at the packets of ink cartridges with a shop assistant because she didn't believe me ...
Advantages: Comforable, light on fuel, easy to repair Disadvantages: Sluggish on cornering
The Yamaha SR125 is a small, custom-style bike. Being 5'3", it was a good choice for my first bike. It's reliable and easy to ride. Over the 5 years that I owned one, all I needed to do was give it an annual service, apart from topping up the oil and replacing the headlight bulb.
The bulb needed replacing, on average, about once a year. It uses the same 12v type as a scooter so there was no lack of supply. ( Scooter shops seemed to offer it cheaper than dedicated motorbike shops). The other cosmetic items that occaisionally needed replacing were the clutch and brake handles. Also pretty inexpensive, about £12, depending on where you buy from.
The rear brake is a drum brake which is quite old-fashioned now, but easy enough to work with. The petrol consumption is very good. I rode from South London (Waterloo) to North London ...
