"Internal Communications? What's that then?"

Advantages: It's rewarding, it gives you an excuse to be nosy about stuff in the name of good communications
Disadvantages: Can be a dumping ground for work people can't pigeonhole, have to be very careful re confidentiality

So, What Is Internal Communications Then?

Internal Communications (let's call it IC for ease of typing!) is, basically, something a company does when it shares information with or collects information from its employees. This can include all sorts of things, from staff magazines, intranets (websites that are only accessible from within a company network), ...
...and concepts
provide an internal consultancy service to advise on communication best practise, particularly in situations where the way people work is affected (redundancies, changes in working practices etc)
and much more beside!

Learning with Vision!

Advantages: Free, comprehensive

professional. It does not actually say which other colleges are used but I assume they will pick ones closest to you. I sent these forms back, again expecting to hear pretty quickly. Another two weeks later I was emailed and was told my course was available to access on the Vision2Learn website. I logged in on the website. Your work area is protected by a username and password. You are then assigned a tutor. My tutor is really nice. Although we only communicate through emails or V Mails, Vision2Learns own internal emailing system, she is very helpful and supportive. You can register on as many courses as you wish but can only study one at a time. Each course is meant to take you about a year to complete. Before you register on any course, there is a list of system requirements, e.g. Adobe Acrobat, an email system etc. There is also a rundown ...

Advantages: A good mixture of modules within the HND and good options after completing the course
Disadvantages: Communication within the Business School
