Advantages Advantages Loads of options including create your own player

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not licensed by FIFA so no proper names for players

Fancy scoring a hat-trick against the likes of Brazil or France.? International superstar soccer 2000 or I.S.S. 2000 lets you do just that. I have never actully had an I.S.S. game on the Nintendo before this one and I'm starting to wonder why. WHAT SORT OF MATCHES CAN YOU PLAY? Friendly match, world league, penalties, training, European cup or World cup. Nuff said. WHAT TEAMS ARE THERE? I counted about 109 but I might have miscounted. All 109 teams are countries from around the globe, this can range from the skills of France to the amatures of Andorra, but no league teams I'm afraid. (it is ... more

    Advantages Advantages Superb realistic gameplay.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Again like many footie games there is no club teams available.

First of all i just can't understand why someone would tarnish this game, it is beyond me. This game is a true classic and the best football game i have ever played. The gameplay is so addictive my friend and i ended up playing the game all night every night for 8 months solid! I would very easily play the game now aswell. It has definetly not lost it's edge and will be a classic game for a long time. The only low point i can find in this game is that it does not allow you to choose a club team and i hope future developments include this option. ... more

ISS 2000. The best football game for the new millenium! Everything you know and love about ISS has been grafted into this game like a strand of DNA for a new more exciting clone to grow from. It supremely combines slick ball skills, powerful headers, crunching tackles and the full atmosphere of the top games from around the world to make it one of the most anticipated releases this year. The graphics are sharp and the gameplay is perfect for evey player, from those who have a keen eye for tactics to those who try and beat every player and walk it past the keeper (and we all know we have tried ... more

Advantages Advantages It's football! Very playable, easy to get in to. Cheap now!

Disadvantages Disadvantages Bad commentary. No real player names

Fantastic! Football at it's best. This was one of the first football games released on the N64 (after the dire FIFA64) but it is still very playable. The difficulty level is just right, at first you don't stand a chance of the hardest setting, but with practice you can beat Brazil with Japan! There are a few small features that let this game down a little. It would be better if it had real player names - but you can always change them yourself. The commentary sometimes gets caught behind the game if it tries to say too much, and can be annoying. The feature that enables you to create a player ... more

Advantages Advantages good graphics, appropriate sounds(including cheesy music) and fabulous control

Disadvantages Disadvantages since ea has the fifa license, no real names are used

I expected a lot from this game. It's predeccesor on the snes was far better than any fifa piffle, and the game did not disappoint. The graphics were crisp and clear, the commetary, although repetive served its purpose, and the control system was great. It has a good difficulty learning curve, although the first time I played I got beaten 3-0 by Japan of all teams. You can edit to your delight, you can fully cutomize the names and attributes of at least 2 teams worth of players. There are 20 scenarios I think, in where you are given a set task(such as score the winning goal) in a set time ... more
