Not Overly Intriguing

DisadvantagesFalls into stereotypical territory, some views annoyed me

"...(well, from the 1990s onwards). Intrigue in the Village is the 10th book in the Turnham Malpas series and probably the best I've read, but it is still very average. Having said that, I do enjoy reading them from time to time - if only from sentimentality. The Turnham Malpas novels are set in a picturesque countryside village that is probably like most townspeople imagine such villages to be - a caring Rector married to a doctor, a General Store ..."
