I read a few reviews for each of the multimedia hard drives I was interested in. My main criteria were the price, capacity and conectivity. This was the only product that ticked all the boxes. Competative price (and for 1TB this was a snip at £123 around £20 more than a 500GB). Got this from Lucmos.co.uk and it arrived within 2 working days. Other reviews have slagged off the simple folder/file tree interface which I suppose with all the tech and graphics options available nowdays it is a bit bland, but the idea of this magic box is to play media copied from a pc on your tv which this does brilliantly. There are certain formats it doesn't play, but with file conversion software available for download for free (try format factory), this solves that issue. I have had a couple of teething problems though. I made a playlist of music videos ...
