Advantages: Is good for Macintosh Disadvantages: The price
...The store vinchester of a type works with disk carriers of capacity 1 and 2 Gb by a principle of return compatibility. To its lacks it is possible to relate that it expensive and is focused mainly on the professional users (developers of multimedia, poligraf etc.) Also to lacks it is possible to relate impossibility of connection of old drives through USB, though the company and is going to modernize park already of sold diskdrives.
And in the whole very quite good store.Especially it suits the users of Macintosh - systems. And with the beginning of the latent discrimination SCSI-adapter SCSI-to-USB became as is never urgent (even at the price in 80 dollars)....

Advantages: Quick access to large external memory Disadvantages: Unable to comment - possibly no disadvantages
...This Pen-Drive or sometimes known as a Flash-Drive is amazing in its capabilities. Unlike an ordinary 1.44mb floppy disk, this flash memory can hold up to 256mb of data. It is also available with larger memory capacity - up to 1GB. It is very easily fitted into the usb port of a computer (including mac pc's) and the drive will just appear - no nead to install anything. Saving on this drive is also very easy, all you do is select the drive from the menu and save the file just as you would do on a normal drive. A benefit of thiscompared to the floppy is that the saving is instant and you do not have to wait while it saves....

...Iomega released a new device a mid-end 2001. This is a USB or Firewire removable harddisk.
The version I have is a USB one with a 20GBdisk supplied as standard. There is also a firewire version and smaller disk sizes available.
All in all the product behaves as I would expect. It is not as fast as a fixed hard disk, but is fine for general use.
The unit comes in two components, the disk itself (and you could buy additional ones) and a cradle (the bit which is either USB or Firewire).
The harddisk seems ok but being plastic cased I would not want to have it bashed around much, a fairly thick case is provided however for the disk itself (the disk is about 3 inches by 6 inches).
The cradle again is plastic and has a bright blue 'button' style of light on it. Looks ok when it is on the go but the cradle is not exactly made from...

Not being a slave to fashion or one to follow the crowds I resisted the temptation to buy an iPod, iPod mini or the Nano when they were first released onto the market initially due to the expense and the fact that I rarely listen to music on the move. A... more
I bought this hard drive for £101 and it has been a pleasure to use. It's a doddle to set up and install and the fast rate of transfer makes file sharing very efficient and easy.
