IomegaeGoportable drives are available for Windows and Mac operating systems and come in five colours: ruby red, midnight blue, silver (alpine white in US), genuineleather and black belt. The capacity options are 250GB, 320GB and 500GB (not all colours are available for each capacity). There is also a special version for Mac users, already formatted HFS+ and with three ports: FireWire 800, FireWire 400 and USB 2.0.
After researching my options I bought a ruby red 320GB original portable series (not the special Mac edition) drive from Misco.co.uk, which cost me £62.08 including delivery. Note, this model (no 34615) can be used in both Windows and Mac computers (although not really recommended for Mac users as you will learn later).

Amazing storage I put films on it everyday, I've had it a year now and it still hasn't filled up, It's not even reached half way and I use a lot of capacity being a music artist.
As well as that it transfers files fast and I've dropped it a few times and still works, it's very durable and is meant to be portable and withstand shocks. It's very quite and looks stylish.

Iomega has just introduced their newsest product for portable harddisk, especially IomegaeGo Encrypt. This product is designed uniquely, and me myself like it. Besides, it is also very strong, because of Drop Guard Xtreme. It's still safe for it to fall from 2 metres high. So, it really fit me, since i am very careless.
This unique device is completed with encryption hardware, it is 128 bit AES ( Advanced Encryption Standard), to make the data saved more securely. It's color is dominated with silver colour, and it's memory is 320 GB. It's a very huge space i think.
This nice design seems to be used many times by Iomega, since they launced another eGo with that nice design too, namely IomegaeGo BlackBelt. ...
