no more wash day blues
Review of Morphy Richards 40659 by
havanna
Advantages: easy to use
Disadvantages: none
After having my trusty old iron for what seemed like forever i decided it was time to give my old model a well earned retirement. See it's not as easy as you think replacing something that has been close to you for so long...I know you are looking at this and thinking i must have a screw loose but if like me you spend most of your time ironing then you understand you need not only an iron but a model that is good at its job..
Everyone loves to get ... ...believe i now can well not all my chores but at least my ironing gets done nice and quick and always looks nice crisp and neat..
This nifty little model is suitable for both left and right handed users and also has the following specs
2000W Power
Cushioned handle
Easy fill water spout
Non-drip system
30 g/min Constant steam output
80g Shot of steam
Variable, vertical steam
Aluminium non-stick soleplate
Fine water spray
2 m Power cord

Morphy Richards Breeze!
Review of Morphy Richards 40311 Breeze by
maccaandclaire
Advantages: very good looking and easy to use
Disadvantages: hopless to pour water into
...was very cheap for a morphy richards product and is a name that you associate good quality products with.
the iron is very good looking! it is easy to use and has exact settings for different types of material at the base of the iron so its easy to look at when ironing.
the only down side that i agree with the previous review was that it is extremly hard to fill the water and i end up getting it over the floor!
apart from that very good! ...

Gliding through the ironing?
Review of Morphy Richards 40654 by
Quark123
Advantages: Good value for money
Disadvantages: Have burnt some clothes
I originally bought this iron whilst it was on offer and initilly found it too light in comparison to my very old, very heavy iron. However, I soon became used to it and found it quite easy to use. Unfortunately it developed a leak after a couple of months but the replacement has been working well for the last four months.
It doesn't exactly glide through the ironing but it is usable and is good value for money. I find I have to be careful when ...

Morphy Richards iron
Review of Morphy Richards 40669 by
becks1005
Advantages: Large water tank, non-stick soleplate
Disadvantages: none
I've always bought cheap irons in the past but as they tend to mark easily and hence mark your clothes, I decided to buy a slightly more expensive one. With so many to choose from, the main reason I chose this model in the end was because it was half price at Tesco...£15.00. It has a non-stick soleplate so it's less likely to mark and comes with a two year guarantee. Other features include anti-scale system, 400ml water tank, illuminated settings ... ...been very positive. Although I initially thought the 400ml water tank was pretty irrelevant, it's actually quite useful as I don't have to keep refilling it if I've got a lot of ironing to do. It is a bit bigger than the cheap irons I've been used to but if anything this has been advantageous. Overall I've been delighted with this iron, I've now had it three months and as I expected with a reputable brand like this, I've had no problems whatsoever. ...

One spurt = one big smile
Review of Home-Tek HT 611 Garment Steamer Travel by
Lunar_see
Advantages: Easy to use, excellent crease removal, lightweight
Disadvantages: None
...travel iron. Then the Home-Tek Travel Streamer Iron was thrust into my hands by a work colleague whom after hearing my moans assured me that if I took care of her precious item I could use it and return it.
The Home-Tek Iron is to be blunt shaped like an old fashioned Joystick and looks nothing like an Iron or in fact a travel iron, which I must say look naff and cheap in any capacity. This iron is really lightweight and fits into my travel case ... ...decided to purchase my own. Home-Tek are not a brand I had heard of, so with my basic computer knowledge I managed to find out a little bit about the company using Google and found that they are championed by Ainsley Harriot and make an array of household good from kettles, carpet sweepers, sterilizers and irons to juicing machines, ovens and slow cookers and sell their items in 70 countries worldwide, so they are definitely a brand on the move and ...
