I have owned the morphy richards precision steam (40730) for about two months now and must say it was a worthwhile purchase. First the technical details- 2200w, 40g of stream,80g steam shot, 320ml water tank, antiscale and antidrip, 3m cord length weight 1.3kg. price £44.99 from argos. So for delicate fabrics on a low temperature setting there is hardly any steam at all so reduces the risk of scorching. I find i have to refill the water tank on a regular basis and when the tank is full the iron is quite heavy to hold. This steam iron is very good, once the correct tempperature is set it irons out 99% of creases. It has a very short time to heat up and also is very smooth to use and is light weight allowing it to slide over clothes easily. Also if hardwater is used it can be easily cleaned with a brush knocking off the dried hard limescale.
