Bosch TDA8353GB
Review of Bosch TDA8353GB by purplepoppy

Advantages: Good quality build, smooth ironing action, auto shutt-off feature
Disadvantages: Bit pricey

...this iron as I believe Bosch are a good quality make. The sensixx comfort secure looks and feels of good build as you would hope to expect. At 2400 watts, it heats up quickly. I was also looking for auto-shut off feature as safety is very important to me. It shuts off at 8 minutes stood upright or 30 seconds if left facing down on the ironing board. It has a pointed tip for precision ironing, approx. 300ml large water tank. The 3 metre long cord ... Read review

RUSSEL HOBBS
Review of Russell Hobbs 12978 by KPN7

Advantages: light, stylish
Disadvantages: more or less everything else

Russel Hobbs are often extremely well made and durable appliances however this is not the case with this product. I'll admit that this iron looks extremely stylish and well made, however it isnt. I personally dont own this product but I bought one for a Christmas present for my friend as a joke and she has being ranting on about it ever since. It has a dial which adjusts the heat for a variety of different textures of clothes such as silk, cotton ...
...heat setting it is on it still seems far too hot for the material. My friend has said that she has burnt more clothes that not with this iron. However the cord is extremely long which I suppose is an advantage (4metres) It doesnt though have a steam shoot which I thought was standard for any iron nowadays. Oh how I was wrong. It is though extremely light which handy I suppose. (I dont do the ironing...if you havent noticed) . I can say however that ... Read review

Powerful Steam Iron
Review of Bosch TDA8333GB Sensixx by Maxlarndison

Advantages: More steam then you can wish for
Disadvantages: None

I brought the Bosch Sensixx Comfort Power iron a few weeks ago now after mine gave up the ghost with a bang. I needed something that will be reliable and powerful, so I chose this one. ~Features~ It has the maximum power wattage which is 2600w which heats up very quickly. It has a large water container which holds up to 300ml. 3m length power cord which is very handy for me as I lack plug sockets in my home. Stainless steel scratch resistant ...
...I can happily say my customers think it is. I have never used Bosch before but am happy to say I would do again in the future so therefore I would recommend this iron. The iron comes with a full instruction manual Thank you very much for reading. ... Read review

A BALLERINA ON THE BOARD!!!!
Review of Morphy Richards 40715 Comfi-GRIP Precise C. by lece2

Advantages: Glides over clothing with minimum effort.
Disadvantages: May be a bit on the expensive side but worth paying for.

The Morphy Richards 40715 iron is really something to write home about. My reason for purchasing a new iron was because my old one was getting on a bit and starting to leak. It was, however, a Morphy Richards iron also as I really do rate the brand. I shopped around a fair bit for a decent iron that would really perform well. I normally go for low cost on most appliances but my theory, when it comes to ironing, is that for what can be such a boring ...
...cut your ironing time in half. At the time of buying, Argos were doing £10 off on this iron which made it £39.95 - there is also an option to purchase an extended guarantee - which I didn't do. I read up what reviews I could on the internet but there are very few which is why I hope you will benefit from this one. The specifications of this iron really do win it for you. The iron is extremely sleek to look at and, as a subtitle is called the Comfigrip ... Read review

One spurt = one big smile
Review of Home-Tek HT 611 Garment Steamer Travel by Lunar_see

Advantages: Easy to use, excellent crease removal, lightweight
Disadvantages: None

...travel iron. Then the Home-Tek Travel Streamer Iron was thrust into my hands by a work colleague whom after hearing my moans assured me that if I took care of her precious item I could use it and return it. The Home-Tek Iron is to be blunt shaped like an old fashioned Joystick and looks nothing like an Iron or in fact a travel iron, which I must say look naff and cheap in any capacity. This iron is really lightweight and fits into my travel case ...
...decided to purchase my own. Home-Tek are not a brand I had heard of, so with my basic computer knowledge I managed to find out a little bit about the company using Google and found that they are championed by Ainsley Harriot and make an array of household good from kettles, carpet sweepers, sterilizers and irons to juicing machines, ovens and slow cookers and sell their items in 70 countries worldwide, so they are definitely a brand on the move and ...
