...I do not see why Tefal has thought that this was necessary except that they just want more cash for what is essentially the same product(shame on them). All I have to say to them is "why fix what is not broken". This is still a great iron which will enhance your ironing experience and will allow you to steam through your ironing(forgive the pun) and if you are looking for this then I recommend it as it will probably lasts a long time but there is ... ...of ironing I do. If you iron lots of thicker stuff it may struggle. I tend to use the instantaneous steam boost when ironing thicker trousers. This gives a good head of steam, but would not be appropriate to use all the time. What else does it do? This is my second steam generator iron and I thought my last one was good but the GV 8150 is excellent. It heats up in about 2 minutes, glides through the most stubborn creases and has a turbo boost button for really stubborn creases.. One of the advantages is that it has continuous steam so you can carry on ironing even if you run out of water, my old iron you had to wait again for it to heat up, also it sis relatively quiet compared to my old one. ...
