This tiny espresso machine is quite something else. It weighs in at around 9 kilos due to its far superior innards compared to the like of the £17 cheapy my sister bought. Its solid brass 5oz capacity boiler makes an amazing difference. I can heat 12 oz of milk in a few minutes, my sister is steaming out of the ears well before her milk is!! It's a class piece of equipment and is part of my business, as a small caterer it's ample for me. It is stainless steel and has a 3litre water tank, expansion valve back to water tank, can have a water softener inserted, has filters and a pressure guage. One or two cup coffee inserts (it directs coffee out of one or two nozzles depending on the insert), built in tamper, steam nozzle, cup warmer and easy clean drip tray. The knobs and switches are easy to use and if I was to complain about anything it's that the steamer knob doesn't have an on on or off arrow so can be a little worrying when you think you are turning it off and inadvertently turn it up more, also that the self primer doesn't always work and that the frost has affected the pressure guage reading but I do use it in EXTREME conditions. That's a relatively easy repair, just a little fiddly and takes a few minutes to remove the air lock. Fortunately it was only on the first use and then after I was off work for quite some time. It has survived extreme weather conditions well into minus figures and heat of around 45deg C. not to mention damp in the steamy atmosphere. For it's size, 10.25d x 8.5w x 12h ins 1kw consumption I'm very happy.
