I must say how very impressed I was, with this little device, and having used it for over two years now, I have had no trouble with it whatsoever. It is able be worn on either ear, and doesn't rub or pinch, although all our ears are different, so someone will complain.
This is also very easy to use, as well as being very good, but most important, it is legal too. Using a mobile phone while driving is now banned, even if you are using it to text, check the time, use the calculator, or use it to scratch your nose! I must also say it makes driving easier than with the old wired hands free kit.
The earpiece has a control for the volume, which is a little hard to operate, but you can use the controls on the phone instead. The sound quality is very good.
These devices can now be found for fifteen Pounds or even less. The reason for this is that the new version is out, with more functions, like a vibration mode. I have to admit I would find this a little frightening, the thought of something vibrating inside my ear would not improve my driving.
I have to say that this little OTE (over the ear) device is brilliant, the recommended retail price is actually just under £30 but as I have just said, you will find it a lot cheaper. Mine was a gift so that made it an even bigger bargain. I also received a car charger, this works on 12 and 24 volts. Also included in the package, was the ordinary 240 volt mains charger.
The little device holds it's charge all day long, even when it gets a lot of use. Apparently it is supposed to give up to eight hours continual use, not that you would be on the phone that long, and it can be charged between calls anyway.
The actual earpiece is very comfortable indeed, and you do forget you have it on. there is also a holder, which has a clip fitted so you can attach it to your shirt etc. You insert the earpiece into the holder to charge it, then whichever charger lead you are using then goes into the holder.
I find that when using this device, the mobile phone itself uses more power than normal, this is because it has to be connected via Bluetooth to the Jabra all the time. I have never yet lost this signal, in fact I have had no trouble with this brilliant little gadget at all.
I must confess, I did have to resort to going to my local Orange shop, and admitting I was an absolute technophobe, I asked them to "configure" my Jabra for me, which they immediately did without any hassle. This was something I could have done myself of course, given a year or two!

There is even an emergency charger available for these, I have seen them on Amazon for £15. They require 4 standard or rechargeable AA Batteries to power the device, giving up to 5 full recharge cycles.
Advantages: Comfortable fit, excellent battery life, replaceable ear gels Disadvantages: Call quality degrades well below the quoted maximum range
The Jabra BT250 is a godsend for people who want to stay within the boundary of the new UK driving laws, without butchering the dashboard of their car for a permanent hands-free mobile telephone kit.
Basically, it's a small headset that will connect to your compatible mobile phone via a wireless protocol known as Bluetooth. Calls can be answered by simply pressing a button on the side of the headset; likewise they can be initiated by pressing the ... ...reported good experiences with the Jabra BT200, a previous model that was launched around 18 months ago.
So I took the plunge and purchased my first bluetooth headset. After shopping around for the best deal, it became clear that Amazon offered the best price - at £49.50 (and free delivery included) their offer was £10 less than the nearest competitor.
Once it arrived, I couldn't wait to try it out, but of course, the obligatory battery charging ...

...than the model below the Jabra BT200 which is about £10 less. It is one of the best bluetooth headsets for battery life when compared with the others as it has around 8 hours talk time and 250 hours standby; I only need to charge once a week! The buttons are conveniently located on the earpiece to adjust the volume. You can also use it for voice dialling and other simple functions on your phone if it is compatible, for example – last number redial

I bought this bluetooth headset for my fiancee a couple of months ago and it is excellent.
The headset, once one, connects automatically to your phone once you accept it. The headset fits snugly and comfortably around your ear, with two types of gel earpiece provided, with spares also! Having no wires means you are free to move and talk naturally and after a while can feel like your not wearing it!
the sound quality is excellent and the other person, I am told, can hear you just as clearly without you needing to shout!
One disadvantage £50 is quite expensive. The other problem is that the battery doesn't last that long, approx 6-8 hours talk time, which may be lots for some people, depending on how much you use it.
The headset is easy to recharge and comes with its own charger cradle, it prob takes about 4 hrs-ish to recharge ...

My my first introduction to the Jabra, BT250V, came with the upgrade to my Sony W850i !
First impressions, very easy to use, easy to connect, switch on, operate etc.
Comes complete in a nice little holder where the Jabra can sit for charging.
The quality of calls through the Jabra is exceptional , but i do have difficulty at times getting the Jabra to shape properly into my ear. I have found that it can fall off quite easily too, and that the loop that goes over the ear can be quite tight,
Dont get me wrong its a great product, but im just not sure one size does fit all in reality ! and this seems a little small for my ears ! ...
