Advantages: Great sound, Great looks Disadvantages: No remote control
...The JBL On Time is a stylish, high performance iPod dock, RDS radio and alarm clock, available in black or white finish. It's one of the more expensive iPod docks on the market, but as with most things, you get what you pay for and the sound quality is FAR superior to cheaper alternatives (I also own an older Intempo iPod dock which was much cheaper but the sound quality is awful).
JBL are specialists in audio and it shows, the "Halo acoustics" system produces a rich, full sound from any direction and is more than enough for a bedroom or small to mid-sized living room. Before buying it, I'd only heard it inside a large, noisy department store and the sound didn't completely convince me, but I took the risk and bought one. After trying it at home, I'm more than happy with both the volume, and the quality of the sound.

Advantages: compact, mobile, cheap, good sound Disadvantages: lake of base, sound volume can struggle at times
...The first thing your bound to notice from these mobile speakers for your mp3 player is the style that JBL creates through a vast majority of its products. Its slide back function reviling the two built in speakers adds a pleasant feel to the product and helps with its overall purpose of compact ability and mobility.

Setting them up is as easy as it looks, with either batteries or mains supplying the power you simple turn on, plug in the I-pod or other mp3 and slide back to...

Advantages: Huge Screen, Price Disadvantages: Can only be viewed from certain angles
.... The remote control is well laid out and simple to use. As a bonus if you have a Toshiba DVD player the remote can control it too.
The sound quality from the set is really good, nice and clear with no distortion and has a built in sub which handles the bass really well. I think the volume goes up to 100 and it is ample at volume 12!
Although picture quality is good, it is in the end of the day a projection screen TV. In certain lights the picture is hard to see, and can only really be watched when sitting at certain angels. I have recently hooked my DVD player up through the S-Video and I can only describe the picture as CLEAR!
All in all anyone wanting to break into the 40 inch plus TV market should consider the 42PW23P as a strong contender....
