Subwoofer
Review of JBL PSE1200 by
shaun17
Advantages: JBL is a cheap and good quality make of in car entertainment
Disadvantages: Most people that start of buying In car entertainment for there car, buy this brand
...The JBL PSE1200 is a five hundred and sixty watt subwoofer, JBL is good quality, and cheap, but the sound it produces doesnt show it, JBl make good boot builds, one or two subwoofer, with a JBL GTO amplifier, produce really loud bass. They are so many manufactures of In car entertainment out there, and I would say that JBl are just as g ood as some of the top quaality one,s really good for beginers and are pretty cheap too! The subwoofers range from 100 watts to 1500 watts, serious bass, and amplifiers running 1500 watts, were talking serious loud bass here. I would reckomend JBl to anyone who is wanting In car entertainment, but hasnt got much cash!...

Amaizing Value!!!
Review of JBL Control 1 by
boondoggle
Advantages: Sound quality is great
Disadvantages: comes with no speaker wire!
...WOW! Never have I heard any speakers that sound so good...
These are absoloutley amaizing....
The JBL control 1's are small but powerful speakers. These are ideal for the profesional or the home user. The sound reproduction is probably the best I have heard. Even running off a home stereo they sound good. So long as the amp does the output these speakers will sound just fine.... they act great as satalite speakers and ideal for partys because of their small size. They are stylish too. The small size with the black colour looks excelent, but they are also producde in white so there is a choice. Also the logo on the speaker front spins round so no matter which way up the speakers are the logo is always the same way too... Overall a good buy for the money....

6x9 Loud as you like
Review of JBL GTO936E by
John_severn
Advantages: Sound, Design, Price
Disadvantages: A lot of mid and treble
...Bought these as a replacement to a set on Kenwood 6x9 speakers I had.
Now after paying tuppence for the Kenwood and then splashing out on these I expected way more than they delivered.
I just couldn't get any worthwhile bass from them that I was able to from the Kenwood's.
One main advantage they have though is that they take a lot more punishment before they distort.
In the end I had a parcel shelf that looked stupid with 4 sets of 6x9's the Kenwood's to do bass and the JBL's for mid and treble, which this setup to be honest it sounded pretty darn fab. Had no need for a sub.
To sum them up, they would sound great in a sound setup with a sub, Brilliant sound at the price....
