JJB Sports 69 High Street Watford (01923) 231494
JJB Sports is the UK’s leading sporting goods retailer. The company supplies a wide range of high quality, top branded products at competitive prices. JJB maintains a high level of service through a nationwide chain of over 420 stores, and this is upheld in the Watford high street branch.
The store is broken up into two, an upstairs, and a downstairs. Like the majority of sports stores the male and female sports equipment is separate, with the female clothing / training wear situated downstairs, and the males sports wear up stairs. They sell sportswear from a selection of designers and the prices are pretty comparative to other rival sports shops. There is also a large selection of golf clubs, accessories and on links clothing, for the Tiger Woods in you. The equipment available is great. Its starts at reasonably low prices, around £5 for rackets and shin pads, and increases in price when equipment becomes more technical and made of lighter materials like graphite. They also endeavour to provide the newest rackets and designs on the markets as soon as they are released.
The staff inside the store are very friendly, and most are themselves, quite sporty. This enables them to advise you with the best possible sporting accessories and how things should fit to avoid injury and safe sports play. If you are a footballer they have everything you could ever need, with a wide range of boots and most premiership club shirts. The hold everything that your average sports shop sells, but the service and prices are the best in the high street.
