JJB JJB is from the creator of JJB MR. J.J. Broughton and it sells all the sports things i need.(provided they are in stock)In the world of sport shops JJB Sports is no way the top shop it is around second or third. im writing on it because i use it the most.
What it sells Ah ha the gold mine what it sells is the most important factor of any shop bar price. JJB sells most things you would want for the more "common sports" such as football, rugby, tennis, hockey, golf, cricket and ball games as such. it also sells BMX bikes, weight lifting equiptment, badminton, icould spend most of my day naming what it sells but i think the point is clear, it sells accesories and bats of loads of sports at a price quite affordable. True is is not as big a company with as big buildings as lillywhites, which is great if there is one near you. But for equiptment and mandantory things (such as a ball for football) it tops my list.
Comparison to other Stores
i went into Allsports for some new football boots, they had them in stock for £49.99 when i went into JJB they had the same ones (nike total 90 in black and gray if you must know) for £24.95 (on offer.) that shows that it is cheaper and therefore more useful. JJB sports is well set out and presented so you can easily find the things you want, the store layout where i go to is practicaly the same on every vist which i have several times a month.Making it convenient and quick.
Availability Not every item is available at all about 1 in 5 items are absent. i went into JJB recently and asked for a baseball bat, they didnt have any so i asked if they knew any other OPEN place where id find one. the shop assistant then thought and said there is JJb in town. i asked if it was open and he said NO! i ended up going to decathlon and getting one there.
Price They are competing with good sport stores and keep their prices low.
Thanx Pete :)
