Make your clothes look new again.

I bought a really nice jumper from Gap last year but was disappointed that after a few wears it started to bobble. To me, whenever a garment bobbles I think it starts to look old and worn but I had spent quite a bit of money on this jumper and wanted to keep it looking new.

I remember from the old days watching tv infomercials about the Remmington Fuzz Away and thought I could definitely use something like that now. SO off I sent in search of a similar product and first stop was Robert Dyas where they always seem to sell products like that.

That is where I stumbled across the JML Bobble Off. JML have their own television channel on the shopping network but often sell a lot of their products in national stores as well, such as Robert Dyas, Boots etc. Their products are always quite handy gadgets that you never think you need until you buy one and then you can’t imagine living without them. Most of their products are designed to help you with chores around the house, in the garden, in the kitchen etc and the Bobble Off is no different.

The Bobble Off costs £5.99 so it is quite a cheap gadget. It is made of plastic and is basically a little hand held machine with covered blades at one end. The other end has a handle that you hold which makes it easy to apply the blades to the fabric. The blades are protected so you are not going to shred any of your clothes when you apply the machine to your garments. JML say that this machine will help to clean away unsightly lints, bobbles and fuzzies with ease.

The Bobble off is extremely easy to use. I find it’s best to put your jumper or garment on a flat surface so you can pull the fabric taut as this makes the process work better. You then switch on the Bobble Off so the blades rotate. You need to put two AA batteries in the product to make it work. Glide the Bobble off over the effected area and the little bobbles get chopped off without pulling at the fabric. I was really actually amazed at how well this product worked and was really happy with the results.

JML say you can also use this product on cushions, curtains and even carpets so it’s really very versatile. The machine has a see through lint trap which catches the bobbles when they have been chopped off. You can then remove this once it is full and throw the bits away and then start again. You can actually see that the product is working when it starts to fill up with all the little bits.

In conclusion, this is such a cheap product but one that works really well and that will revive old clothes/items and make them new again thus saving you even more money in the long run.
