Hmmm..more than 120 words about a little block of white sponge? and making it so entertaining that everyone wants to rate it 'very helpful'. It's a daunting task...especially as I'm a bloke, living on his own, whose nemesis is the cleaning cupboard.
It's lucky that I'm so impressed with the product then isn't it..?

It's white and it's a sponge...right, that's the factual stuff out of the way... What? more information? Oh well, if you insist... This is what the makers JML have to say about it...

"The Magic Eraser is the effective solution to removing stubborn marks and stains without the need to use detergent. It's so quick and easy. You can eliminate almost any ground-in marks on any hard surface, in an instant. It is so simple to use. Dampen the sponge, squeeze out excess water and you're ready to go. Cut the jumbo sized sponge to the size you need for the task in hand. Rub gently and the mark will disappear. It is ideal for elimating almost any household stain from finger marks to grease on cookers. Also effective on wooden floors, tiles, PVC and even wallpaper."

Which is all well and good but it doesn't tell you that you can also use it for macho things like getting scratches out of your car's paintwork (go gently though, I have a feeling you could end up at bare metal if you rubbed long enough) suggesting it's very abrasive (especially as it got rid of scratches that my scratch removing car polish can't get out) but doesn't leave a 'scouring' pattern...it's like an unmessy T-Cut sponge!!
By Golly, that greasy, crusty Barbeque had better watch out!

Shower screen next...Wow, you mean this glass is supposed to be transparent and not opaque!?!? I bow before this superior cleansing ability. Let's try some paintwork scuffs. What scuffs?! They took less wiping than the shower screen and even took a fine layer of paint off, leaving it probably more colorful than before (granted, this may not be a good thing for some of you...I'm certainly not suggesting you wipe over your Renoirs or Da Vincis in a bid to restore them).

Can there be any downsides to this product from the Cleaning God(dess)??
Yep, It hurts my fingers! (sorry...I don't own rubber gloves) Its inherent abrasivity shows on my poor pinkies after a few minutes use...not painful, more irritating.
Also after a few uses, its structural integrity breaks down (stops bouncing back to shape) so it's not as reusable as a real sponge (but a real sponge doesn't have the same magic).

You can pick this up for £3.99 at the JML Direct website, or any Woolworths or Wilkinsons, or Amazon, or anywhere else that sells JML stuff.

Finally, it's worth noting that I did all the above cleaning with a piece about 3" x 5" that I'd cut off the jumbo block.

See...it's magic (it must be, it got me cleaning) and it erases stuff
