(+) Funky pattern, quick to heat up, adjustable temperature, slim, lighweight (-) Have to prise them away from mum when I want to use them in the morning
Advantages: esy to use and clean Disadvantages: heavy and have to use metal dishes. However you can get smaller versions in the Range!
Hi, I purchased my halogen oven through coopers of stotford. It is alsomst the same as JML.. same size etc but only £40. It is te coopers version and almost identicle! They also sell a lid stand and accessory pack including steaming tray, toast rack, frying tray and extension ring!
I use my hallogen oven all the time and hardly use my main now and again! The one thing that is a downside is that you can't put pyrex dishes in it to cook casseroles etc. The oven heats the dish but the pyrex absorbs all the heat and the food doesn't cook! You can get around this however by using metal dishes!!!
It also comes with a cooking guide
I think this is a brilliant device! You can get a smaller version including extension ring for the same price which we saw in the Range! Ideal for one person or someone who has problems lifting the hbowl ...

Ciao members have rated this review on average: somewhat helpful Review of JML Halogen Oven
Advantages: Large glass bowl Disadvantages: Pick one!
Firstly I was very pleased with the oven, but very disapointed with the instruction manual, especially the cooking times. It really told me nothing! I think JML need to look into this and perhaps provide a cooking times chart, that actually gives you better instructions than;
Parsnips 2cm Strips and diameter @ 200oc for 36 Minutes
and Whole small onion @ 200oc 60 Minutes.
These instructions tell me nothing.
What makes more sence would be to include instructions for all veg and to include information about cooking in foil with a small amount of water (Seen in online advert only.)
Also my electric meter whilst cooking, seems to be cooking itself (Spun round like a washing machine, on its final spin!)
To cook a 1.55kg Chicken cost me 70p.
Not so economical, one of the main reasons for buying it, Oh well.
