I love making my own peanut butter and sauces! But the blender I already had was to heavy and not to mention fiddly. One afternoon after cleaning my kitchen franticly before I had to go to work I sat in front of my good old TV and turned to the shopping channels to see what new and wonderful gadgets and gizmos they have brought out, you know the ones? They seem great when you buy them and think you really need that product but when you get it you use it about 4 times then it some how works its way to the back of the cupboard and you forget about until you move!!
Well I was watching the eezee TV channel that sells JML products and the super chopper came on, I watched the women showing off the product. They had every day people talking about how they cant do with out it and use it every day for every thing.. Yer right I thought!! They showed you how the super chopper can chop ice and even concrete! Then I saw the price and it was then I turned off the TV £30 for that no way…
However I started talking to a friend at work and she had one, but didn't pay that price for it. She told me to go to Woolworths were they were selling the same product for £14.99 well with a bargain like that I couldn't resist. When I got it home I couldn't wait to try it out! Ok I didn't put concrete in the thing but I was temped..
The super chopper is smaller than a kettle and will sit on your work surface lovely or if you want to put it into a cupboards it wont take up to much space. The other great thing I like about the super chopper is that it goes into the dishwasher and it wont rust the blades or harm the plastic in any way, you just pull it all apart and pop it in! and putting it back together is just as easy.. With my other blender when I put it in my dishwasher the plastic came out all marked even thou it was dishwasher safe.
The other good thing about the super chopper is that it has a built in locking lid safety function so the blades wont turn until the lid is on so little fingers cant turn it on and blend their fingers!!! And if you ever are blending something hot then the suction feet keeps the unit in place so little people cant pull it over and burn themselves.
With the unit you are able to Grinder, blinder and liquidise using the one blade, you are able to control which one you want to do as you only have one button to press and hold it down for a number of seconds and thats all it takes is seconds, so if you want say your meat chopped fine then hold it down for about 9 seconds and it done . You can buy the super chopper from a number of places but the price will vary. The JML web site sells a number of super choppers prices start from £19.99 Woolworths sell it for £14.99 Amazon.co.uk sell it for £29.99 Eezee TV sells JML products, and they sell the super chopper for £29.99 but some times they have deals on like buy one get one free so it is worth having a look every now and then.
The super chopper is really handy to have I wouldn't say I use it every day! More like 3 times a week.. It would be great for mums making home made baby food, I think if you only used it for that reason it would makes its money back….
