    Advantages Advantages I honestly can't think of any!

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Everything! Cancels lessons, out for your cash and takes you easy roads!

    I started lessons with John in July and in December when I left his "motoring school" I had only done 20 hours. I only joined John's driving school as he was alot cheaper than RED who cost roughly about £5 more an hour. Looking back on it I wish that I paid the extra as they were realiable, professional and very helpful. At the start I had made it clear that I wanted to pass as soon as possible and that Christmas time was the latest I still wanted to be learning.     Advantages Advantages One lesson was brilliant...it just cost a lot.

    Despite reading reviews on 'Ciao' of JNR school of motoring i decided that John only seemed to be a bad choice because you couldn't get hold of him...Therefore i thought that aslong as i could keep pressuring him to give me the hours it would be ok, or that i might have a different experience. In short, i took a risk and it did not pay off. At first John seemed nice and friendly, he offered me a discount on account of the fact business was going well, so i thought: wow thats uncommon and in my naivety accepted, a short while on in the conversation though he said that business was slow so he ... more

    I was really excited about getting driving lessons after I just turned 19, but three months on I've only had 9 hours of the 30 we agreed to. I tried calling him, but he keeps giving me excuses about his health or stuff about his family. I never remember this happening in the beginning. John seemed like an alright bloke when I met him first and reckoned he'd be legit as he was trying to run a business and told me he was with the DSA.     Advantages Advantages None; a very bad experience. Most positive feedback JNR receives seems to be from the same person!

    Having been with JNR since April 2009, booking a block of 30 hours seeing that I had to do the test over the summer, allowing ample time for preparation and I was assured of this after making payment in full when I had already done the first lesson. From there things went downhill, with lessons being cancelled in the last minute messing up any plans for the day. Switching phone off or not responding to phone calls or texts. Waiting two weeks for a lesson and suddenly using random excuses to delay it for further weeks. All in all, this man has wasted my time and money (lost money on test day ... more

    I had an assessment lesson with John after which he said that a 30 hour intensive course would be the best option. I enjoyed every lesson that I had with him. Subsequently I did 29 hours and passed with only 3 minors. To illustrate how good John is the same day I passed I drove over 150 miles on motorways, dual carriage ways and country roads with complete confidence. This man definitely knows what he is doing.
