I first found my instructors number when he was driving around my area and I quickly made a note of it on my phone.
A day later I called him to book a lesson, the earliest possible date was a month later. I decided I wasn't in a hurry and so booked it in. I had 2 previous instructors which I didn't like much, so I didn't mind waiting at all.
When I did start having lessons with him, he was impressed. I had only 3 previous lessons but was driving well. On the first day we did left turns and right turns and touched on the roundabouts. On the whole it was great.
Juniour (the instructor) is great, he makes you feel comfortable and if you do anything wrong he will not shout or make you feel bad. He will just ask for you to pull over and have a short diagram of what happened and what should have happened.
He has a March '03 Vauxhall Coursa which is extreamly comfortable and very easy to drive. He charges £10 first 5 hours and £14 thereafter inc. weekends. For an instructor in NW London this is very high value for money as most others are charging in the region of £16-£25 (AA, BSM etc).

Sounds like a very good deal. I found the Ciao site whilst trying to find a driving instructor for my 17 year old son so if you know of any equally good instructors in the Oxfordshire area I would be glad to hear about them.

I am learning to drive too and it is important to have an instructor you like.
