I bought these speakers just over a week ago, i have installed them in the back shelf of my car. These speakers rerplaced the factory fitted speakers in the back. They give a crisp sound with a little bass but not much. If its bass that you want i recommend a subwoofer. Unlees you're sitting in the back you dont hear much of the tweeters, only when you fiddle with the settings on you're car stereo do you start to notice a difference. So if you do want to give the speakers more power buying a 2 channel amplifier would be the best thing to do.
