...For all you computer users who need a pc that is great for out and about use, and need a pc that is small. This is the mother of all small pc's.
I looked through the magazines that i order my PC's from for myself and my shop. I came acroos this little thing and was amazed how much technology the could fit insuch a little space. (34x225x175mm)
*General*
The processor is at a reasonable speed for getting things done quickly at the expence of battery life (3.5 hours). Ram memory is @ 256mb which is good for those demanding programs but dosnt really fit with the 1GHz Pentium M processor. Hard Disk is @ 40GB not sure of the RPM. Advantages: its good for high performance , durability(6.7 hrs battery life),n exceptionally light Disadvantages: its price, much emphasis on video editing, low hdd space(40 gb).
...The new jvc mini note pc is based on the Intel Centrino platform and is aimed at the mobile professional. the Mini Note is an extremely compact (9.2 by 7.0 by 1.5 inches) and lightweight (3.2 pounds system weight) ultraportable that's attractive and well-made.The unit contains a built-in DVD/CD-RW combo drive, which eliminates the hassle of carrying external drives.Intel's Centrino G 2200 wireless solution, resulting in some of the best throughput we've seen for an ultraportable wifi.
But the main drawback which i think is the price tag.the processor speed is good but the hdd space is too less (only 40 gb).the key pitch doesn't make the Mini Note as typing-friendly. perhaps the graphic card dosn't impress the gaming geeks....

Advantages: Compact, Larger than expected screen resolution, Stylish, Light, has USB2.0 capability Disadvantages: Sluggish graphics, no internal CD drive.
...As you'd expect, this is a laptop computer, that's been scaled down to a size that's little larger than an A5 sheet of paper.
I've tried a number of mini-notebooks, and this is one of the better designs out there. JVC actually do a pretty good job of getting the design right, it's a functional machine, while still being light enough to hold in one hand, and type on it using the other.
When the device is opened out, we've got an 8.9" screen, which looks best running at its native resolution of 1024 by 800 pixels (the picture seems to look a lot worse running at a resolution other than this). Needless to say, the picture is clear and sharp, with excellent definition, as I'd expect from a laptop from this end of the market.
Technically speaking, this machine is definately not on the cutting edge of technology, therefore it's not...
