JVC CB A79 Case Camcorder
also known as "reporter bag"
INTRO
With a weight below 180 grams this medium-sized case can be considered, without a doubt, a lightweight case. I have been looking for a case where to put my werdly-sized camera (Canon S5 IS) for a long time after the fiasco of the original canon bag in which my camera does not fit properly; so I was in a shop (Curry's) the other day and I spotted this case on a shelf with a 97p tag on it. I asked the assistant if it was indeed 97p and so it was... I imediately bought it. I later found out that the price of this bag usually varies between £10-£15, currently on amazon is around £13 so I can consider myself quite lucky and happy of the amazing deal.
OVERVIEW
So let's see some details, first of all the size: approximately 17 x 11 x 10cm. The material ...
Advantages: very easy to use, small and light Disadvantages: ?
I bought this camcorder and i liked it very much. The GR-D70, as with it's sister products the GR-D20/30/90, is likely to satisfy customers looking for a no-frills, easy-to-use camcorder that has digital stills, USB and full DV/AV inputs.
First Impressions:

It' overall design is functional rather than beautiful, though that won't be of concern to someone who is looking for a camcorder that is easy to get to know, offers a reasonable range of functions, and which does what it says on the box.
The main power switch, menu thumbwheel, photo button and small zoom toggle are all to the right of the monochrome 0.24" LCD viewfinder and are easily accessible when shooting.
The camera's line are pleasing to the eye ...

and replace them all with DVD versions. So this all led to the idea of getting a DVD recorder/VHS combi.
Next decision was which one. I'm not very technologically minded and found that many of the words baffled me. Also I had no idea what certain abbreviations meant. I spent a whole day trawling through internet sites, finding out what I could about various products, what they offered etc, and what all the jargon meant.
I looked around for reviews but found only one on this product. It had been written by PC World, and gave it top marks. But I did come across several reviews on similar JVC products saying how many problems they had. However we were impressed with it's specs so decided to take the chance.
What does it do?
