LCD screen is excellent even in bright light. The only downside I can think of is when when transfering to computer this and the software provided runs a little slow. Although this is probably the same with all cameras of this type regardless of brand. Very good all round camera, but if your after High-Def then fork out the extra for the better picture quality.
