The JVC Everio GZ-MG630 is a member of the Everio G SeriesCamcorders and is the cheapest of the three 2009 members of the line. a 1/6-inch 800,000-pixel CCD image sensor that is supported by a 40x dynamic zoom magnification that uses all of the CCD pixels without any degradation of the picture quality. It has an 800x digital zoom and also has a 60 GB memory. A memory like this will allow you to get thousands of pictures and hours upon hours of video footage. The screen is in colour and is great quality.
The actual quality of the pictures and videos are great (very clear)
A decent battery life
It uses a memorySD card which means that you can easily transfer pictures onto your computer without messing about with wires
It's a very compact design
The sound of the camcorder is unexpectedly good quality
You can select the quality of the images
There's different modes for different situation E.G. a mode which enables you to record in the dark
The camcorder itself is easy to use
Disadvantages
Unpredictable recording times with variable bit rate
Less support by advanced video-editing and video-effects software than for DV format
I personally think that the design shape is pretty boring
I would recommend this camcorder to anyone who wants a simple to use one for things such as holidays.
