Overall this is an excellent product at a very good price of £301.00 delivered by Pixmania on time. However, the first hurdle to overcome is the ordering system on the Pixmania web site. This insisted on keeping in our basket a previous camcorder we had purchased from Pixmania (and was stolen) a few years ago. It took a phone call to their customer service department to sort this out - when we finally managed to find a telephone number to call. ...camcorder should have arrived with a Micro SD card, but this was missing. Another phone call told us we should return everything in its original packaging and await a replacement. This was impractical and very inconvenient as my wife wanted to take the camcorder to Spain for a wedding, and in two weeks time to China. After a lot of persuasion the customer service department agreed to ask 'Head Office' to try and waive this standard procedure and ... more

The camcorder should have arrived with a Micro SD card, but this was missing. Another phone call told us we should return everything in its original packaging and await a replacement. We spent about £9.00 on a new SD card from Lowpricememory.com to solve our problem. If Pixmania ever get back to us I will update this review. All told, if you can put up with the inefficiency at Pixmania then you can get products at a very good price. As for durability, we don;t know yet but I can't publish without ticking the box.
