there are over 20 buttons making it quite hard to use.but once you get the hang of it you`ll be able to use it without a dougt.
i have this excellent ... ...and want to take pictures, you can take pictures with the camera mode.
this item is suited for its job mainly because of its high quality recording. the recording makes it look near profectional as you can connect it to your pc and edit bits and addother bits from other movies you made.
the sound is perefect, even when you are at a concert. 5 star sound.

playback on the camcorder is better than most sony camcorders because there is no record sign flasing when you have finished recording and are watching it.
there is a remote control that comes with it but i find it hard to use because it is not propaly explained in the instruction manual.
the price tag is better than sonys but bad for jvc.
Advantages: Fairly cheap, easy to use, and easy to edit Disadvantages: This may have just been mine but it stopped working after 2 years, complaining of condensation
This Camera was perfect for what i needed it for, mainly animations and holiday films, but after 1-2 years it just stopped and the shop i bought it from, wouldnt fix it as the warrenty had expired! so i had to get it fixed at great expence. but after that it worked perfectly so my advise is to buy this product as it is exellent value but maby keep it away from humid countries or at least take out extended warrenty.
