When I changed to a second-hand Sony DCR-TRV60 it was simply a revelation: Superb images, reasonable photo quality, excellent accessories, much smaller and lighter. ... ...screens. The 60 (70 in the US) was just ideal.
The introductory price of the JVC camera was far too high; the advantage of the "bright" f 1.2 lens was just a gimmick because all depends on chip sensitivity and not on the aperture as in a photocamera. ... more

When I changed to a second-hand Sony DCR-TRV60 it was simply a revelation: Superb images, reasonable photo quality, excellent accessories, much smaller and lighter. Unfortunately Sony changed to the 80 and 95 models with bluetooth (for the US market?), heavier, more expensive and bulky screens. The 60 (70 in the US) was just ideal.
