These headphones from JVC include all the features of more expensive brands at a superb price. But are they up to the job?

The sound quality of these Headphones is mind blowing. The bass is astronomical and the sound is crisp and clear. I think this is partly due to the 30mm Neodymium drivers. Of all the headphones I have used these have to be the best for sound quality.

The design of these headphones is OK. The colours chosen are nice and the top adjusts smoothly and easily. They fold flat to make them more portable but they are not the most portable even when flat. On a lighter note, the jack is gold plated which is good and they look great when you wear them too.

The isolation in these headphones is pretty good. The pads are closed minimising sound leakage to hardly anything noticable, even at higher volumes. Also, sound leakage inside the headphones is pretty good. Little noise gets in either, apart from some voices like announcements on a train which can only be a good thing.

The connectivity on these headphones is ok. Theres simply a 3.5mm jack. I would have liked an inline volume control which is typically what you get with these types of headphones but that's nothing really.

Overall, These headphones are superb quality for the money. The portability is an issue, but it's the same with all of these hifi headphones. I highly recommend them.
