When my old car failed it's MOT and had to be scrapped, there was only one thing I kept. This CD Stereo / Radio.
This unit has done me proud of the few years I've had it. It hasn't put a foot wrong and I believe it will continue to do so. The radio receives lots of stations, and projects them in clear and loud sound. Their is balance, fade, treble, and base controls, as well as a sound function that allows you to choose pop or soft for example, depending on your personal preference. The 18 FM presets should be enough for anyone, and are easy to setup and use.
The CD player has Random, and Repeat functions which I know not all do. The most used button I discovered was the mute button, simple but very useful when someone is trying to speak to you. The control unit detaches for safe keeping too.
There are more advanced stereos on the market, ones which have multi-disk changers and bluetooth etc, but if you want a straight forward Car CD Radio.. then you cant go wrong with the JVC KD-S621.
How helpful would this review be to a person making a buying decision? Rating guidelines
Car Radio - Panel Release, Panel/Quick Release - with CD Player, With CD-Player - without CD-Changer, With changer control - with MP3 Playback, With MP3 Player - 208 Watt
Interesting read, though you could have left details of where to buy it etc, a price and performance comparison to really achieve higher review ratings. I am sure there must be times when the radio does not work so well, and if so mention it.
