High qual A/V for double DIN owners 09/05/2008

Advantages Extremely high value for $, add-ons, excellent a/v quality, JVC=solid equipment
Disadvantages Minor additions would make this a world beater, add-ons are expensive, no navigation available

After the initial learning curve of mild frustration, I've come to terms that this is the best head unit i have owned. I had it professionally installed for a song, but then took it out of the dash to wire it to my own specifications. The output power is very good, I almost believe that the 50W rating is realistic, and with a Double DIN form factor to work inside, it should be. The vid quality is excellent, and the audio quality is very good. I recieved This item as a birthday gift last month. i had been lookin to get a flip out screen but am very glad i recieved this instead. the allround design of the item is brilliant and the ease of use is excellent! the crispness of the picture is amazing for such a small screen. it offers many features and come complete with remote control wich is great when controlling from the back seats. looks great when installed and the way the screen hides the cd slot is a really good, original idea. the item also supports ipods, i have tried this and it works great. i would recommend this item to any ... more
