...The new JVC UXT55 is a sleek unit with a firm build quality. If you are looking for a branded micro Hi-Fi then this is the ticket. Packed full of features, it boasts a full logic remote control so you dont even have to get out of bed to switch the unit on, listen to CD, tape, or tuner! It also has an alarm clock with sleep timer. The only thing this unit wont do is actually make your breakfast! With an output of 20 Watts, this is plenty of power for your average sized room and JVC have included their Dynamic bass boost, extra bass, and treble controls for people who really like their sound banging! - and yes, this can be operated by the remote as well! Currently selling for £129.99, a modest price for a unit so full of features. definatly one to stick on your birthday or xmas list.... Read review

Advantages: Loads of cool functions and a groovy REMOTE CONTROL!!!
Disadvantages: You canonly plug in the FM or AM antenna.

...My last stereo was unbelievabley temperamental! I would start listening to a CD and suddenly it would stop and say "No Disc" You have no idea how annoying this actually is. Si I eventuall got around to replacing it. That's right I got my hands on a JVC UX-T55!!! This baby comes with AM/FM radio, CD player, Auxillary capabilites ( You can wack in a lead from your tele and have an amazing surround sound experience!) and cassete deck, as well as to groovy speakers with removable dust covers and a remote control!!! This is the average bone idle lay abouts dream. Lie in bed and think "Ahhh. I need some music, I know I'll use my REMOTE CONTROL!!!" It's a wicked accessory and I I would feel heart broken if someone took it away. You can program tracks so if you buy a compilation you can set it to play only the songs you like, it... Read review
