Advantages: Beginners - kindly through clearness, stylish design, picture - and Tonqualität Disadvantages: ---------------

Through the miracles of the new technology impresses I wanted also to afford a DVD-Gerät approximately one month ago finally then. Therefore, I set out, with the solid resolution, no longer than 150 Euro, to spend, as also, with my constantly empties account *sfz *. Nevertheless, I wanted qualitatively acceptable ware and no " rattle-appliance ", and as DVD-Laie an as operator-friendly as possible appliance.
I could be discussed and finally decided me for the DVD-Player " XV-N33SL " of JVC, that lay in the limit sedate by me in price and had even some addition-functions, that I had not at all expected. But to it later more.
What does one get for the money? Besides the appliance itself still the long-distance-service including batteries and an audio-video-cable with which I could nothing starting, to it however late.
Optics: The appliance itself is silver-colored, slim, works solidly, also the in-drawer for the DVDs/CDs. It simply works and sends, absolutely optically appealing, At the appliance itself, the standard-function-buttons, On/Standbies, Öffnen/Schließen, Play are, stop, pause, Vor-/Rücklauf and " lively-playback ". The distant-service is also silver-colored, looks however somehow somewhat cheaply and the battery-compartment clatters very strongly, if one puts the distant-service on a wood-table for example, it clatters quite loudly. - Small verschmerzbarer minus. The buttons of the distant-service are differently-colorfully - the standard-service-buttons of the DVD-Players, that one needs for the pass of DVDs, is dark-blue with white symbols. The " Schmankerlfunktionen ", that probably one also v.a. for MP3 and JPEG - Funktioenn needs, is gray stained against it.
Connection of the appliance: I was first-sometimes so stupid simply first-sometimes to proceed seemingly logically instead of reaching for the instruction manual, the included cable into the DVD-Gerät to and, to look at my television set for matching holes for the in-stopper of the cable then. There were not them/her/it however there. A gaze into the instruction manual and above all on the DRAWINGS in the instruction manual, showed me then, then I the audio-video-cable could forget, my television set has a so-called SCART-Buchse and therefore needs a SCART-Kabel. That had not been included unfortunately! But woman knows to help itself/themselves, and according to entstöpselte I the SCART-Kabel from my old video-appliance and would use the cable for the new DVD-Player. The wars also then already, plugs into the socket, TVs at, DVD purely and the DVD tarnished from alone.
Long-distance-service: The appliance is to be served easily through the long-distance-service also for laymen like me. The long-distance-service is clearly built, most symbols were to me already known also through my old video-appliance. The reach of the long-distance-service can say that I O.K. generally, however the room, in which the DVD-Player stands, is also quite small,
Formats: I useful the DVD-Player exclusively to the pass of DVDs, he/it is however more versatilely employable, because he/it supports all following formats:
The appliance can use DVD VideoDVD-R/RW/+RWCD R/RWSVCD and VCDAudio CDMP3JPEGMan therefore for example also as CD-Player and picture-contemplation-appliance - doesn't do I, therefore refers my evaluation and description only on the simple main-function of the appliance as DVD-Player.
Further Schmankerl of the appliance:
- 3D - PHONIC-Funktion / Dolby Surround (important) if one wants really to use the appliance as CD-Player - I cannot really enjoy the tonqualität, because I the appliance like said at my old television set of eingestöpselt has, - 10-Bit/54 MHz Video-D/A-Wandlers (for a beautiful sight-experience) - bookmark-mode ":
The appliance can store the position on one disks and can continue the rendering at the same position later. It stores the bookmark-positions of the 30 finally played disks so.
Picture-quality: The picture-quality is super, the picture is keenly and exact, contrast and brightness Top. One can change the picture-quality over the screen-menu and either individual or pre-determined attitudes, for example with contrast, repletion, brightness etc, chooses.
RESULT: I can recommend the appliance with good certain, because one receives a quantity addition-functions, that said honestly for me, for his/its money less interestingly was, because I only the reason-functions useful. The quality is correct above all however, the service is simple, the instruction manual, if problems appear, is clearly and with many declarative illustrations equips! So, the appliance is the right also for DVD-Neulinge like me! Clearness, quality in picture and processing of the appliance (naja) O.K., the long-distance-service is like said somewhat ramshackle, but that is verschmerzbar, and she/it perfectly works for it!
Advantages: Great Value For Money Disadvantages: Bit Confusing With The Different Settings
I bought this DVD player just before Christmas for just £70 and it is better than all of my friends DVD players who payed in excess of £150. This DVD has given me no problems and has been the best investment I have made. It plays all the dodgy DVD's from abroad that you can buy for a couple of quid, and the ones you can record at home. the only complaint i can have bout this DVD player is it is a bit confusing at the start but once you get the hang ...

Advantages: Can play burnt dvds (floating laser system), very slim, quite reliable Disadvantages: has a tendency to stop playing smoothly halfway through a dvd sometimes
This dvd player cost me about 140 Aussie dollars. It is a fairly basic dvd playback model but has all the features you need including zooming, sound equalizers presets, subtitles, menu navigation, resume play after switching off, etc... it is quite a good player. It is very slim and will fit in any standard cabinet easily.
It hasn't become defective or broken since i bought it about 2 years ago! JVC is a well known brand with a good reputation and it is covered under a warranty! The price was the biggest factor when i was looing for a dvd player - no doubt the price has dropped since my purchase but even then it was one of the cheaper models
The only problem i have experienced with it is a strange freezing halfway through movies sometimes though not that often it can be quite annoying - perhaps the disks get scratched by the player ...
