Advantages: Can play burnt dvds (floating laser system), very slim, quite reliable Disadvantages: has a tendency to stop playing smoothly halfway through a dvd sometimes

This dvd player cost me about 140 Aussie dollars. It is a fairly basic dvd playback model but has all the features you need including zooming, sound equalizers presets, subtitles, menu navigation, resume play after switching off, etc... it is quite a good player. It is very slim and will fit in any standard cabinet easily.

The only problem i have experienced with it is a strange freezing halfway through movies sometimes though not that often it can be quite annoying - perhaps the disks get scratched by the player (or being stacked by my flatmate!) but i think it is unusual that it should recurr more than a few times - it might be an issue in deciding on buying a dvd player if you will use it frequently!
Overall however i have very few complaints - it runs like it should most of the time and gives good playback, good quality, and easy use. I would reccomend that while it is fine most of the time - perhaps it is a defect inbuilt in the model - so perhaps another model in the same series would be worth a try - ther is very little difference between models... oh and i forgot to mention...it looks quite nice too! Not ugly at all.

Advantages: Good Quality, Well Built Disadvantages: No-DVD Recording
I've owned this model of DVD player for just under a year now, I've not a single complaint, It plays all my DVD's, VCD's and SVCD's even ones i have burned myself. The menu's are easy to navigate through. The Sound and Picture quality are excellent, its had all the connections you need to connect to an external source (eg. Hi Fi) and Scart socket for the TV. It even includes a S-Video connection. The manual is written well and is easy to understand, ...

Advantages: Beginners - kindly through clearness, stylish design, picture - and Tonqualität Disadvantages: ---------------
I dear cinema-films, and such, that pleased me especially well, would also like to have I at home then.
Therefore, I have a quite big collection at videos.
Through the miracles of the new technology impresses I wanted also to afford a DVD-Gerät approximately one month ago finally then.
Therefore, I set out, with the solid resolution, no longer than 150 Euro, to spend, as also, with my constantly empties account *sfz *.
Nevertheless, I wanted qualitatively acceptable ware and no " rattle-appliance ", and as DVD-Laie an as operator-friendly as possible appliance.
I could be discussed and finally decided me for the DVD-Player " XV-N33SL " of JVC, that lay in the limit sedate by me in price and had even some addition-functions, that I had not at all expected.
But to it later more.
What does one get for the money?
Besides ...
