Confusingly, there is also a Gift Set available, which is the one I purchased. The RRP for this is £26, and you get a 50ml bottle, and a matching, perfumed, shimmer touch body lotion 75ml, which is very moisturising and leaves a hint of glitter on your skin. I say the RRP for this is £26.. the same price as the bottle on its own! (I got this set for £13 in the Boots January sale - what a bargain!!).
~Bottle Design~ The bottle is quite retro looking, and resembles a vase with its wider bottom and tapered top. The bottle is multi - faceted, and the colours in the bottle vary depending on the angle you're looking at it from - through shades of dark blue / light blue / aqua, clear, yellow, green and red.
There is a pattern moulded on to the bottle. It is a series of swirls and diamonds. Each of the segments is made up of the aforementioned colours.
The bottle itself is made of glass. The stopper is a red circular ball of plastic. It fits nice and snugly onto the bottle with a reassuring "click". There have been no spillages as yet!
Below the stopper is a blue strip going around the top of the bottle, saying 'Jennifer Lopez Live Luxe' in gold lettering.
~Scent~ Initially, when you first spray it, the scent is quite strong. Once it dries, it smells a lot more subtle. This seems to be the case with most perfumes however, so don't be put off - if you give it a chance to dry up and settle down, it's actually really nice!
It is a very fruity scent, with pear, melon, apple and citrus essences. In addition to the fruits, are tones of musk, vanilla and sandalwood.
It is a long lasting fragrance, and a few sprays in the morning will see you long into the afternoon without need for re-application.
I would say it is suitable for use in most occasions, daytime or evening.
~Packaging~ I bought my bottle as part of a gift set. It was in a sturdy, bright blue cardboard box with a lid, and had the name and manufacturer embossed on a corner of the box, along with the swirls and diamond pattern which is on the bottle.
So, do I recommend this? Yes! It's delicious! It's good value for money because it doesn't need frequent re-applications, so the bottle should - in theory - last quite a long time.
