Over a period of 6 years during the nineties I invested £50.00 per month in the Enterprise Trust and was extremely happy with the resultant gains. Their costs, administration, valuation statements and trust performance all provided a very smooth introduction to the world of long term investment savings, without the initial £1000.00+ outlay needed to keep total costs around the 5% all in mark.
The Fund Managers somehow kept the asset to share price valuations at a premium when most other funds were and still are sliding down to the 15-20% mark so when I did finally move the fund monies to For Col European Trust nothing was lost to the discount factor. A good Manager for the open minded investor wishing to manage their own funds and only have to deal with the one company to do so...

From the moment I was old enough I wanted to open Investment Trust Savings plans having studied the Unit trust and other product alternatives. Remember these were the days of barely existent asset to share price comparisons and higher dealing costs.
I have been with Flemings ever since and must have invested in at least 8 or nine different trusts depending on the prevailing winds.
Geographic and Business diversity gives me a cheap window into worldwide markets with a basket of well-researched shares. Their product range has expanded and their costs have fallen without any affect on very good service. I do not have any work dealings with the company but must give congratulation where due....
