Jack La Lanne Power Juicer

I have for many years been an abuser of my body. I daily punish my brain and liver and still hope to see 70. At Christmas however I took ill and ended up in hospital with a stark warning that i need to change my life.

I was given to me by my wife a Jack La Lanne Power Juicer. It was a great big hulking item that looked more like r2d2 than anything else. It stayed in the box until new year.

NEW YEARS DAY... I had my news years resolve and was determined to make a go of it. I took it out of the box and found that it was quite heavy and well made. No flimsy parts here and with good clear instructions I was away.

At first I thought it was broken and was going to take it back but I could feel it moving. It was that quiet I could not hear the powerful motor running. I started with something easy that was to hand. Apples. It juiced them in seconds and boy was there some juice. There also was very little waste.... I was now hooked.. when will the greengrocers be open to buy a legion of food.

Over the next few days I tried everything carrots, oranges, watermelon, beetroot, grapes, banana and literally the whole of the local fruit and veg man.

It is a fast and efficient machine that is also easy to clean. It works out cheaper if you buy your fruit and veg in bulk rather than buying most carton juices. But you have the satisfaction knowing how freash you made it.

The downside is how bulky it is. If you have a small kitchen then you will need somewhere to store it. I now use mine everyday but have room in the garage for it.

In conclusion I have never felt better and It helps towards my 5 a day.
